All About Me

Hi my name is Lexi. I live on a farm in saskatchewan. My farm is a family farm my grandma and grandpa live right across from our house. And my Uncle Dean, Auntie Karen, Colby ,and Beau live five minutes away from our farm so they are part of the family farm to. On our family farm we have 300+ cows, 25-50 cats, One dog named Coco, One horse named Hotsauce. I have lots of friends but I am only going to name a few of them. Julie (11), Breanne (11), Kylar (11), Kara (11), Aj (10), Emily (10), friends from the lake. What I look like, I have short brown hair, Blue eyes, Freckles, I am 4 feet tall and 8 inches so 4.8 I am pretty tall. In my family there are 6 people. There is my mom/Kim, my dad/Garnet, my sister Brooke, my sister Lora, my brother Rory, And Me. The oldest in my family is my Dad, then comes m Mom, then Brooke (13), then Lora (12), them Me (10 turning 11), them Rory (8). My dad owns Crocus Oil, and used to work for ISH (ISH is a oil plant or something). The names of my cousins on my Dads side are, Uncle Dean, Auntie Karen, Colby, Beau, Uncle Ron, Antie Tara, Chelsea, Riley, Uncle Pat, Auntie Tenley, Jenielle, Eryn. And there is a lot of family on my moms side so I am not going to name them off. Adn the names of all the animals on my farm are, Coco my dog, Hotsauce my horse, lots of cows, and a lot of cats. The names of some of my cats are Gorge, Buddy, Tiny, Oreo, Cheeta, Hissy, Black nighty, Gilbert, Darel, Climer, Orangy, And lots more. They are all out door pets and animals. My Favorite... Sport is Dance because, it is fun and we have a good dance teacher, my favorite Food is spaghetti because, it tastse sooo good, my favorite Class in school is Art and Math because, it is fun and I enjoy it, my favorite movies are Grown ups 2, The Surfs, Despicable Me, The Smurfs 2, Despicable Me 2, and lots more I like these movies because, they are realy funny and a good movie to see with your family.

The Amazing Terry Fox Run

The Amazing Terry Fox Run This year for the Terry Fox run was so much fun, the grade 4/5/6 class put on the run along with their teacher Ms. Reichert! There were so many different things we did this year. Before the actual run started the grade 4/5/6 class put on a pep rally. At the pep rally a few of us said the “Note from Terry”, and some people read this other inspirational speech. When we were reading the note from Terry we played a bit of the Terry Fox video. After the Terry Fox video and the speeches Julie, Kylar and the rest of us made the Terry Dance! The Terry dance was really fun. Then everybody went outside to run. The day of the run was on Friday, September 27, 2013, it was 6.5 k long. The weather outside was pretty hot but not too hot, so just right. All of the kids, teachers, and parents were waiting for Mrs. Ross to say go, Ready... Set... GO! And off all of us went. I could feel the gravel crushing under my feet as I ran, and the nice cool breeze blowing on me. Half way Ms. Komar had a water station and she played some pretty cool tunes. As I got closer I could hear the music playing. Then when I got to the water station I got a quick drink, the water was nice, cold and refreshing. Then I got further away from the water station and the music slowly faded away. When I looked out to my sides I could see nice big fields, big bushy trees and big beautiful sloughs. When I finally got to the finish line I was so happy and excited, but then I realized that I still needed to go back. I was starting to get tired when I passed the water station and made my way to the school. When I arrived at the school, I went inside and I saw a snack table. I ate a few brownies, a cinnamon bun, and some oranges, and they were so delicious. This year the whole school raised 1 890 dollars that goes towards cancer research. The Terry Fox run is always amazing and fun especially this year! By, Lexi

Things I value in... Myself, I value positivity in myself. Positivity is when you are always looking on the bright side and being nice and positive. I value this because, I like to be positive and bring ohter peoples spirits up when they are sad. I also value joyfulness in my self. Joyfulness is when you are happy. I value this because, I like being joyful and happy lots, and being nice. I value caring in my self.Careing is when you care about people and things like Ipods and stuff that belongs to others and to yourself. I value this because, I like to care about my stuff and not wreck my things or others things such as , Ipods, Toys, Clothes, lots of things. I also like caring about people and being nice to them. Things I value in Friends/Others, I value a Friend/Other to be fun. Being fun is when you are always having fun and not fighting with each other. I value this because, I like to have fun and playing games outside or inside.Instead of sitting inside and doing nothing all day. I value a friend/other to be honest. Being honest is telling the truth and dont lie to each other. I value this because, I like it when people dont lie, and I like it when they tell you things when you ask them something. Unless you want to know what your birthday or Christmas present is then they would not tell you something. I value a Friend/Other to be serious most of the time. What I mean by that is I dont want a Friend/Other to always be seious, and never joke around and never be sarcastic, but at the same time I dont want a friend/Other to always be joking around and always being sarcastic and never be serious. What I mean by that is I like a Friend/Other to joke around and be sarcastic lots, and at the same time the rite amount of being serious and the rite amount af being sarcastic and joking around.
